Its so lovely in your country - do they need sustainable development consultants there?

I could live in that house at the bottom of the mountain :)

ROMANCE SOMNÁMBULO de F G Lorca

Verde que te quiero verde.
Verde viento. Verdes ramas.
El barco sobre la mar
y el cabalo en la montaña.

Con la sombra en la cintura
ella sueña en su baranda,
verde carne, pelo verde,
con ojos de fría plata.
Verde que te quiero verde.
Bajo la luna gitana,
las cosas la están mirando
y ella no puede mirarlas.

I think the green looks greener because of the rains.

Surely there must be some sheep grazing somewhere ;)

I had a piece of advice from a photographer once. Look at photos that inspire you and then see what they did and try to do the same. I think this is one of those photos :)

I love the way it leads the eye 'home'.

yes...because of the rains and the river proximity.
Lots of sheeps, lambs and goats...on the other side.

this looks like it could be anywhere... any country...

How far is all this 'change of scenery' from where you live?

I really do love the colors. Did you enhance it or is it natural?

Pink and green... very preppy combination! =]

i don't know what i did, but my comment from yesterday is not here.
i love the poem that un dress posted.

if it weren't for those yucca, palmy type plants this could almost be here in our mountains. of course, it's not as green here at the moment. not just because of winter, but because we've spent several months in a severe drought

but what really makes your photos, besides the composition, is the color.

PS - the colours you paint and the colours you see in the landscape...they remind me of the film by Kurosawa called "Dreams". Vivid beyond real.
